2026 Term Enrolment Terms & Conditions
By enrolling in classes at Relevé Studio, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
Enrolment
Relevé Studio offers both term-based classes and casual classes.
Term Classes (Juniors, Pre Teens, Intermediates, Seniors and Opens) are booked on a full-term basis.
Casual Classes are offered on a pay-as-you-go basis and are subject to availability.
All bookings are made online via the Relevé Studio website.
A participant's place is secured once their online booking and payment have been successfully completed.
Class sizes are limited and bookings are accepted on a first come, first served basis.
Fees
Term Classes
Term fees are payable in full at the time of booking.
Fees reserve your place for the duration of the term and are not based on attendance.
Term fees are non-refundable except where outlined in these Terms & Conditions.
Casual Classes
Casual class fees are payable at the time of booking.
Bookings are subject to class availability.
Casual class fees are non-refundable.
Term Cancellation & Withdrawal
Once the term has commenced, fees are non-refundable, as your place has been reserved exclusively for you.
Injury or Serious Medical Circumstances
If a student is unable to continue participating due to injury or a serious medical condition:
A pro-rata studio credit may be issued for the remaining unused classes.
The validity period of any studio credit will be determined by Relevé Studio at its discretion, taking into consideration the student's individual circumstances.
Refunds will only be considered in exceptional circumstances at the discretion of Relevé Studio.
Missed Classes
If you are unable to attend a class, please notify Relevé Studio as soon as possible.
Missed classes due to illness, holidays, school commitments or other personal reasons are not eligible for a refund or credit.
Studio Cancellations
If Relevé Studio is required to cancel a class due to instructor illness, venue issues or other unforeseen circumstances, we will provide as much notice as possible and offer one of the following:
a make-up class; or
a studio credit
Casual Class Cancellation
Casual class bookings may be cancelled up to 4 hours prior to the scheduled class start time.
Cancellations made at least 4 hours before the class will receive a studio credit.
Studio credits may only be used towards another casual class during the same term.
No cash refunds will be issued for cancelled casual class bookings.
Cancellations made less than 4 hours before the scheduled class, or failure to attend without notice, will result in the booking being forfeited. No studio credit will be provided.
Health & Safety
Participation in dance, and other physical activities conducted by Relevé Studio involves inherent risks. These activities may involve physical exertion and carry the risk of accidents, falls, collisions, strains, sprains, fractures and other injuries, which may occur despite appropriate instruction, supervision and safety precautions.
By enrolling in classes at Relevé Studio, you acknowledge and agree that:
participation is voluntary and undertaken at your own risk (or at the risk of your child if enrolling a minor);
you (or your child) are medically fit and physically able to safely participate in dance activities;
you will disclose any existing injuries, illnesses, medical conditions, disabilities or other circumstances that may affect participation prior to attending classes;
you will promptly notify Relevé Studio of any changes to medical information throughout the year;
you understand that it is your responsibility to seek appropriate medical advice before participating if you have any concerns regarding your fitness or health.
Relevé Studio is committed to providing a safe, supportive and inclusive learning environment and teaches in accordance with recognised safe dance practices. While every reasonable care is taken to minimise risk, Relevé Studio cannot eliminate all risks associated with physical activity.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Relevé Studio, its owners, employees, contractors and instructors are not liable for any injury, illness, loss, damage or expense arising from participation in classes, rehearsals, performances, workshops or other studio activities, except where liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Relevé Studio is not responsible for:
injuries resulting from participation in dance or related activities;
injuries resulting from a participant failing to follow teacher instructions or safety directions;
injuries resulting from undisclosed medical conditions or pre-existing injuries;
loss, theft or damage of personal belongings brought to the studio; or
any indirect or consequential loss arising from participation in studio activities.
Participants are expected to act responsibly, follow all teacher instructions and immediately advise their instructor if they experience pain, discomfort or injury during class. Relevé Studio reserves the right to ask any participant to cease participating if it believes continued participation may present a risk to themselves or others.
Emergency Medical Treatment
The health and safety of our students is our priority. In the event of illness, injury or any medical emergency occurring while participating in a Relevé Studio class, workshop, rehearsal, performance or other studio activity, you authorise Relevé Studio staff to take any action they reasonably consider necessary to protect the health and wellbeing of the participant.
This may include:
providing basic first aid;
contacting a parent, guardian or nominated emergency contact;
arranging ambulance attendance;
By enrolling, you acknowledge and agree that Relevé Studio staff will act in good faith and in the best interests of the participant when responding to a medical incident or emergency.
Any costs associated with ambulance transport, medical treatment, hospital care, medication or other healthcare services are the sole responsibility of the participant or, where applicable, their parent or guardian.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Relevé Studio, its owners, employees, contractors and instructors accept no liability for any injury, illness, medical complications or outcomes arising from emergency medical treatment sought or arranged on behalf of a participant, provided such actions were taken reasonably and in good faith.
Physical Contact
Dance instruction may require teachers to provide appropriate physical guidance to assist with posture, alignment, technique or movement.
By enrolling, you consent to appropriate physical contact by Relevé Studio teachers for teaching and safety purposes.
All Relevé Studio staff hold a current Working With Children Check where required by law.
Drop Off & Pick Up
Parents and guardians are responsible for ensuring children are dropped off and collected promptly from the studio.
For the safety of all students, children should be collected from inside the studio, particularly after dark.
Photography & Video
Photographs and videos may be taken during classes, rehearsals and performances for use on the Relevé Studio website, social media platforms and other promotional material.
If you do not wish for you or your child to appear in photographs or videos, you must notify Relevé Studio in writing before classes commence.
Students may only record class content on personal devices with the permission of the teacher and the consent of any students appearing in the recording.
Student Behaviour
To ensure a positive learning environment, students are expected to:
treat teachers, staff and fellow students with respect;
follow all teacher instructions;
wear appropriate dance attire and footwear;
behave in a safe and considerate manner.
Relevé Studio reserves the right to refuse participation or cancel an enrolment where behaviour is unsafe, inappropriate or repeatedly disruptive.
Privacy
Personal information collected during enrolment is used solely for the administration and operation of Relevé Studio and will be handled in accordance with applicable Australian privacy laws.
Changes to Terms & Conditions
Relevé Studio reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. The current version published by the studio will apply to all enrolments.
Acceptance
By completing your booking and payment, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms & Conditions.
